In our sixth episode Mark and Peter cross over into Black Library’s Shield of Baal: Tempestus. A novella written by Braden Campbell. Spoiler alert, we do a full review of the book. If you are like me, this kind of review makes me want to go and get the book. It’s a good read, a fast read, full of suspense and action. We recommend picking it up.

Bolter Porn Segment: A close call has Sergeant Valus concerned with the front lines more than his injuries. He also meets an old friend. Find out who in this episode.

Wrapping up editing

Episode four is jam packed with fun and hobby goodness.  I have a few more quick things to do and this episode is ready to go.

If you missed our 3rd episode you will want to give it a listen for it is the part one of the Shield of Baal: Leviathan campaign.  Also we announced that we are starting a book review segment and we are tying it in with the Shield of Baal.  The first book we are covering is Shield of Baal: Tempestus by Braden Campbell.  I’m a third of the way in and I’d have to say I am not dissappointed.  It is already filling gaps in the campaign and it’s an exciting read.  I’d recommend picking it up.

Episode 003

NGC40k Episode 003

In our third episode Mark and Peter take an in depth look at Games Workshop’s Shield of Baal: Leviathan. We get roughly half way through the story in this episode. We will cover the second half in episode 4. If you haven’t taken a look at this Campaign series yet, I strongly recommend it.

Bolter Porn Segment: This is a repeat of last weeks segment. I thought of where I would like this segment to go and I’ve decided to have it grow into it’s own bi-weekly audio drama. A 40k version of Prince Valiant if you will. Each episode will build onto the previous story. We’re pretty excited about this, me especially.

The Hobby Spotlight is on Peter’s Vendetta conversion. It gives the chassis a more streamlined appearance worthy of painting teeth on the nose. (check out pics and details in the hobby spotlight page)
